The Chipper Jones 10th Inning Baseball Academy is a
full service baseball and softball training facility. At the
10th Inning, we will offer instruction by “true professionals,”
individual and team batting cages, Dartfish Video
Training, and our full service Recruiting Program for our
high school players. We will also offer ongoing specialty
clinics, coaches clinics, scout school, and camps to our
athletes.
The 10th Inning is owned and operated by professionals.
Your son or daughter will be trained by professionals. That
is, coaches who have either played or scouted in professional
baseball, and realize what it takes to get to a higher
level. We will give all of the athletes and their parents’
truthful evaluations of your child’s abilities and progress in
our program. It will be the goal of the 10th Inning to
maximize each players potential, and allow them to play
this great game as long as possible.
Not only will we offer the physical training necessary to
succeed, but will teach each player the importance of
sportsmanship, character, off-field behavior, team play, and
the importance of those characteristics to high school and
college coaches, and professional scouts. The “sixth tool,”
as described by professional scouts, is one that will be
stressed.
We realize that not all of our athletes will be professional
baseball players. In fact, a high percentage will not. What
we strive for is the maximizing of each players potential,
and to teach them an appreciation for the game. Each instructor
at the 10th Inning will have a passion and appreciation
for the game, and a passion to teach young athletes,
or they won’t teach here.
We know that there are many cages and facilities available
to go to in Atlanta. While our building and our cages are
not unique, our people are! It is our hope that you will
choose to bring your dedicated athletes to the 10th Inning,
and afford them the best opportunity for success in the
game of baseball and softball.
